Questions
Because brake dust is hot iron that bonds to the finish within days - soap slides right over it. Once the embedded iron is dissolved and the wheel is sealed, new dust sits on top of the sealant instead, and a rinse takes it off.
Nothing on sun-baked plastic is permanent, so we won't tell you otherwise. Our trim treatment is a restorative coating measured in months to a couple of years depending on sun exposure - not the two-weeks-of-shine spray dressing you've tried from the parts store.
On the Wheels-Off package, yes - it's the only way to properly reach the full barrel and hub, and it's the right time to ceramic coat them. They go back on with a torque wrench to your manufacturer's spec, not an impact gun.
No - that's refinishing, not detailing, and we'd rather tell you straight. What we can do is make the damage the only flaw left on the wheel, and point you to a refinisher we trust if you want it gone completely.
